Major destruction of load-bearing structures of transport structures

The modern network of public roads in Ukraine was formed by the 80s of the 20th century. The most intensive construction of bridges in Ukraine was carried out in 1960-1970. Thus, 80.7% of bridges were built before 1980 [1, p.282]. According to DBN V.2.3-22:2009, the estimated service life of bridge structures is 70-100 years [2, p.11]. According to the distribution by operational conditions, it indicates that more than 30% of bridges are in the 4th and 5th worst technical conditions. The majority of bridges (52%) are in the 3rd (serviceable) operational condition. The vast majority of transport structures (over 80%) have signs of initial deformations, and in some cases these damages have reached a critical level and have become irreversible, destructive.
