The main trends in sustainable development in Europe

Among the world's regions, Europe has the most experience in developing and implementing sustainable development strategies. While the initial sustainable development strategies of EU countries primarily focused on environmental protection issues, now all three components of sustainable development (economic, social, and environmental) are more or less evenly addressed. Two types of sustainable development strategies: covering three key areas of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental; cover the three key areas of sustainable development and touch upon aspects of international cooperation.
